D.K. Bose
Chief Technology Advisor
An icon of the Indian Software Industry with over 30 years of information
Technology experience (including a tenure at IBM as a Systems
Engineer), DK is one of those frontline Generals who have won for India
its coveted Software Superpower status. Always at the cutting-edge (forget
the cliché, this is true cutting-edge) of systems & software
expertise and a source of mind-boggling knowledge, he embodies a relentless
passion for technology and has an amazingly diversified domain expertise.
As Founder Director, Principal Consultant & Chief
Executive Officer, he has single handedly built the ADA SOFTWARE
Group from a startup in 1991 to the global software presence it is today.
In the mid-90’s, when everyone was exporting software talent from India
to the U.S., he stood steadfast against the tide and held on to his
belief that the true value for India (and his company) lay in acquiring
offshore projects. A true global road warrior, he has offices and residences
dotted all over Europe. A regular presence in International Trade Shows
and Seminars everywhere, DK is a proactive member of many professional
and standards organizations, amongst them: World Wide Web Consortium,
USA (W3C); Workflow Management Coalition, USA (WfMC); IEEE Computer
Society, USA; Computer Society of UK, London; Institute of Engineers,
India; Computer Society of India; and Object Management Group (OMG),
USA, where he is Representative South & South East Asia.
DK also lectures and teaches extensively in several institutes in India
and Europe, including post-graduate level courses in Asia’s leading
Indian Institute of Management (IIM). His favorite subject? Distributed
Object Technology, of course.
